Jenn is a lifesaver! Maybe more accurately a sanity saver! We are in the process of a major remodel and found ourselves struggling to make confident decisions on all of the finishes. We were not in a good spot and feeling stressed and overwhelmed when we found Jenn on a google search. We were hesitant to spend some of our tight budget on a designer but let me tell you it was worth every penny!! Jenn is knowledgeable, professional and a great resource for all things remodel. She helped with it all… paint, texture, trim, tile, layouts and furnishings. When we first met I gave her my inspirations and the few finishes we had picked thus far. We discussed budget and how much help I wanted/needed. Within a short timeframe she provided focused options for me to choose from. When the final options were decided upon she delivered very professional tear sheets with pictures and links to our choices. She also provided layouts for our contractor and electrician. I don’t know where we’d be without her (probably still losing sleep over which tile to pick). My husband is still quoting tiger king “I’m never going to financially recover from this,” but also stating that “Jenn was the best money we ever spent!” I couldn’t agree more! I can’t recommend her enough!! She’s also fun to work with!

Jen is the founder and principal designer of JRID. As a California native who has worked in various design roles for over two decades, she has developed a strong passion for residential design. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience working for commercial and residential design firms, homebuilders, tile and flooring showrooms, and as an architectural sales representative. These diverse experiences have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the design industry.
She currently resides in El Dorado Hills with her husband and two children, and enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and trail running in her free time. Her love for the outdoors inspires her design work, as she draws from the beauty and harmony of the natural world to create stunning and functional spaces for her clients.
